Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Epicurean Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd., we strive to provide excellent service and customer satisfaction. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for order cancellations and refunds for services booked through our platform.

1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation eligibility and refund amounts depend on the type of service and timing of the cancellation request.

Food Orders

Full Refund: Orders cancelled by 6:00 PM IST on the day before scheduled delivery

No refunds after cutoff time

Staff Services

Full Refund: Cancelled at least 48 hours before service date

No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours

Equipment Rentals

Full Refund: Cancelled at least 72 hours before event start

No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 May Be Eligible for Refund (at our sole discretion):

  • Cancellations made within the specified timeframes mentioned above
  • Duplicate payment made by error (verified by our payment processor)

2.2 Not Eligible for Refund:

  • Cancellations made after the specified cutoff times
  • Orders already delivered or services already rendered
  • Change of mind after the cancellation window has closed
  • Refund requests made after the event/exhibition has ended
  • Inability to receive delivery due to customer unavailability
  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
  • Minor variations in food presentation, portion sizes, or garnishing
  • Subjective dissatisfaction with taste, flavor, or personal preferences
  • Delays caused by exhibition security, venue restrictions, or third parties
  • Service issues not reported within the specified timeframes

IMPORTANT: Post-Event Refunds

Refund requests MUST be submitted before the exhibition/event ends.

For the Plastindia 2026 exhibition (February 4-10, 2026), all refund requests must be submitted no later than 6:00 PM IST on February 10, 2026. Any requests submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

3. Refund Process

3.1 How to Request a Refund:

  1. Submit a Request: Contact our support team via:
  2. Provide Information: Include your order number, reason for cancellation/refund, and any supporting documentation (photos for quality issues, etc.)
  3. Review: Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days
  4. Approval: You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is approved
  5. Processing: Approved refunds are processed manually within 5-7 business days

3.2 Refund Timeline:

  • Processing Time: 5-7 business days from approval
  • Bank Credit: Additional 3-5 business days depending on your bank
  • Total Time: Up to 12 business days for funds to reflect in your account

3.3 Refund Method:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the order
  • For UPI/Digital Wallet payments, refunds will be credited to the source account
  • For credit/debit card payments, refunds appear as a credit on your card statement
  • Cash refunds are not available for online payments

4. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Incomplete Delivery: If some items were not delivered (subject to verification)
  • Late Cancellations: Discretionary partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Note: Payment processing fees, transaction charges, and any applicable taxes are non-refundable in all cases. The determination of what constitutes a valid partial refund claim is at our sole discretion.

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Exhibition Cancellation/Postponement:

If Plastindia 2026 or any exhibition is officially cancelled or postponed:

  • Customers may be notified via email
  • Refunds may be considered at our sole discretion
  • Customers may have the option to transfer orders to a new exhibition date (if applicable and at our discretion)

5.2 Force Majeure:

In cases of natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control, we shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations. We may, at our sole discretion:

  • Attempt to reschedule services where feasible
  • Consider partial or full refunds on a case-by-case basis
  • Provide alternative solutions as we deem appropriate

We are not obligated to provide refunds in force majeure situations.

This Cancellation & Refund Policy is subject to our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the modified policy.

All refund decisions are at the sole and absolute discretion of Epicurean Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. and are final and binding. No appeals or disputes regarding refund decisions will be entertained.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy. This policy does not create any contractual or other legal rights in favor of any user or third party.

Nothing in this policy shall be construed as creating any obligation on the part of Epicurean Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. to issue refunds under any circumstances.
